Hands-on with Tools / Up on a Ladder
When your hands are busy, dirty, or you cannot stop mid-job to answer.
What It Is & How It Works
Your phone rings normally. If you cannot answer after 3 or 4 rings (or tap Decline because you are working), the call automatically forwards to your ExtenVox AI assistant so you never lose a paying customer.
Real-Life Scenario
A homeowner calls with a burst pipe emergency. You are in an attic running electrical conduit and cannot grab your phone. Instead of sending the customer to an empty voicemail where 80% hang up, ExtenVox answers immediately, collects their address and urgency, and texts you: "John needs emergency electrical repair at 44 Pine Rd. Water near panel."
Best suited for:
- Electricians, plumbers, HVAC techs, and carpenters with tools in hand
- Solo contractors who are driving between job sites
- In-person meetings when you cannot answer another phone in front of a client
