1. What “unlimited” means
“Unlimited calls” means we never charge you per call or per minute. Your AI Receptionist answers every call to your ExtenVox number, and your monthly or annual subscription price does not change with the number of calls you receive.
Unlimited plans are designed for the normal call volume of one business, answered on that business’s own behalf. This Policy is part of the Terms of Service and works together with the Acceptable Use Policy.
2. Fair-use AI minutes by plan
Normal use for one business is up to the following number of AI minutes each month:
- Solo: 600 AI minutes a month
- Professional: 1,200 AI minutes a month
- Business: 3,000 AI minutes a month
AI minutes are the minutes your AI Receptionist spends on answered calls, measured from the call’s recorded duration. On annual plans, the fair-use amount applies to each month of the year.
3. What never counts
- Calls our system classifies as spam or robocalls.
- Calls shorter than 15 seconds.
- Calls that are not answered by your AI Receptionist, such as missed calls or calls forwarded directly to your team without the AI.
4. Alerts and no overage charges
We send you an email, a text message and an in-app notification when your business reaches 80% and again at 100% of its fair-use minutes in a month. Each alert is sent at most once per monthly period.
We never charge overages. Your AI Receptionist keeps answering calls after you reach 100%, and your price stays the same. You can follow your usage at any time on the Plan & Usage page of your dashboard.
5. Usage above normal
If your business is above 100% of its fair-use minutes for two monthly periods in a row, a member of our team will contact you to review your usage and help you choose the plan that fits it. We will not move you to another plan or charge you more without your agreement.
If usage stays well above normal and you do not want to change plans, we may discuss options with you, including a custom plan. Any change to your price only takes effect after you agree to it.
6. Prohibited uses of unlimited plans
Unlimited plans may not be used for:
- Reselling, sublicensing or white-labeling ExtenVox call answering to other businesses.
- Operating a call center, answering service or telemarketing operation for third parties.
- Automated dialing, test traffic, machine-generated calls or any traffic created to consume minutes.
- Sharing one ExtenVox number or AI Receptionist among several separate businesses.
When we detect one of these uses, we may limit call handling, suspend the affected number or end the subscription as described in the Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy. When practical, we will contact you first and give you a chance to correct the issue.
7. Call length
To protect the service from abuse, each AI-answered call can last up to 10 minutes. Nearly all customer calls end well before this limit.
8. Free trial limits
The 14-day free trial includes every Professional feature for up to 25 answered calls or 100 AI minutes, whichever comes first. The same rules about what never counts apply during the trial.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy, including the fair-use minutes for each plan. We will post the updated Policy on this page with a new “Last updated” date and give reasonable advance notice of changes that reduce the minutes included in your plan.
